VIETNAM ISSUES E-VISA TO NATIONALS OF 35 MORE COUNTRIES

To meet the foreigner’s demand for travelling without complex visa procedures, e-visa in Vietnam has been put into practice by the Government since 2017. Find out how it works as well as what you should know about this useful device in the article below.

Being the latest kind of visa, e-visa (Electronic Visa) is the legal license through an electronic system for foreigners to travel and enter the country.

In February 2017, there has been first 40 countries which is allowed to apply e-visa in Vietnam such as Azerbaijan, Argentina, Armenia, Ireland,  Poland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Brunei, South Korea, Germany, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Cuba, Denmark, Timor Leste, United States of America, Hungary, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, United Kingdom, Myanmar, Luxembourg, Mongolia, Japan, Panama, Peru, Finland, France, Philippines, Spain, Sweden, China (not applicable to Chinese e-passport holders), Uruguay, Venezuela, Norway, Slovakia.

FROM 1ST OF FEBRUARY 2019

Citizens of these eligible 35 countries are able to apply single Vietnam’s e-visa from February 1st ,2019 include Austria,  Iceland, Belgium, Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina,  Brazil, Qatar,  Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Croatia, Estonia, Fiji, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Macedonia, Micronesia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Salomon Islands , San Marino, Cyprus, Switzerland, China (applicable to Hong Kong and Macau passport holders), Vanuatu, Western Samoa, Serbia.

After that, the Vietnam Government continued to add more six countries that are allowed to apply for the e-visa program in Vietnam. The list comprises Australia, India, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, The U.A.E, and Slovenia.

Actually, e-visa would bring advantages to applicants, especially foreigners far away. Thanks to e-visa, it is not necessary for them to go far or waste too much time on the procedure for E-visa registration. Visible good point of e-visa is the Internet connection, which you can apply Vietnam’s e-visa anywhere and anytime if you can access the  Internet.

Step 1: Access the website:
https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/web/guest/trang-chu-ttdt

Step 2: Fill out the required information on the online application form

Upload your passport data page image and half-length photograph (straight-looking face without glasses).

Step 3: Pay e-visa non-refundable fee 25 USD for 30 days single entry.

The registration code is provided to applicants after three working days.

Step 4: Check your result by entering your registration code at the link https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/tra-cuu-thi-thuc. Please print e-visa if your application is approved.

It is important to make sure all these things before you conduct e-visa registration online.

Foreigners are out of the country.

Foreigners own a valid passport with at least six months of remaining.

– Foreigners are citizens of the countries listed above.

Foreigners are not in cases of no entry permission described in Article 21 of Law on entry, exit, transit, and residence of foreigners in Vietnam. For more details in:
