The Marble Mountains are located about 10 kilometers toward the southeast of Da Nang city and 20 kilometers from the North of Hoi An. From Danang city center, you can go by car or motorbike to Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street.

Ticket Price

The entrance fee is 40,000 VND (1,7 USD) and walkers can go inside the mountain through a particular gate. Besides, you can also pay an extra of 30,000 VND (1,3 USD) one way to take an elevator up the mountains if you think of going up the rocky stairs to be quite a challenge, especially if you are with children and/or elderly.

Thuy Son is also known as Tam Thai Mountain because there are 3 peaks which are located on three stages like the three Tam Thai stars. Thuy Son is the most beautiful and largest mountain chosen by many tourists to visit and explore in out of five mountains. To reach the top of the mountain, you can choose to climb more than a hundred steps or use an elevator with a transparent glass chamber with a two-way fare of VND 30,000.

Tam Thai Temple is a large temple in the Marble Mountains. The pagoda has 3 gates. According to Buddhism, the main gate is served for the monks to go, the right side is the female gate, the left side is provided for the male. Through the ups and downs, the pagoda has been repaired many times but still retains many ancient Buddhist architectural features.

Huyen Khong Cave

Huyen Khong Cave is another beautiful scenery in Thuy Son, which you can’t skip when visiting Marble mountain. It is an open cave. The cave has an extremely unique structure with circular arches that are open to the outside so it is always full of light. Visitors not only visit, explore but often immerse themselves into the sacred space to feel calm and relaxed.

Kim Son

Kim Son’s silhouette is shaped like a tipped bell and on the bank of Co Co river. So if you have a chance to take a boat on the river, you can contemplate the shadow of the puzzle on water. Leaning against the head of Kim Son is the ancient Quan The Am Pagoda and the Quan Am cave.

Moc Son

Located along Thuy Son mountain is Moc Son. There are no pagodas on Moc Son mountain, but only one block of white marble is often called by the locals.

Hoa Son

Located opposite Thuy Son mountain is Hoa Son mountain, which consists of 2 double mountains and a connecting stone road. There are caves and Pho Son Da pagoda in the top of Duong Hoa Son mountain, while Son Hoa Son mountain possesses high mountain peaks and rocky slopes with trees alternating, looking extremely majestic and primitive.

Tho Son

Tho Son is also renowned for a folk name called “Da Chong Mountain”. Tho Son is a low and land mountain but stretches the longest of the five Marble Mountains. There is a cave deep in the mountain named Bo De with narrow niches, and a refuge.
